FCC Certification:Federal Communications Commission. The purpose is to ensure that electronic equipment does not cause interference with other electronic equipment, in line with U.S. laws and regulations.

Verification
This is the manufacturer or importer to ensure that their products by self-assurance of the necessary testing. Devices eligible for self-verification include: commercial computers, IV and FM receivers, and industrial, scientific, and medical devices not intended for mass consumer use under FCC Rule Part 18.
DOC: Declaration of Confor-mity
Requires the responsible party for the equipment (usually the manufacturer or importer) to test the product at an FCC-designated qualified facility. Requires appropriate labeling on the product. A statement is made in the user’s manual and a report is retained for inspection. Devices applicable to this method include:
Home computers and peripherals, residential broadcast receivers, ultra-regenerative receivers, other receivers under FCC Rule Part 15, cable system termination equipment, and industrial, scientific, and medical equipment for mass consumer use under Part 18. The DOC can also be used for products that are applicable to Verification.
Obtaining ID
FCC-authorized certification body to the applicant to submit samples (or photos) and test data for review, if in line with the requirements of the rules, the device will be authorized to an FCC ID number, applicable to this mode of equipment, including: low-level transmitters such as cordless telephones, remote controls for automatic doors,
Radio-controlled toys and security alarm systems, automatic frequency converter receivers, and so on. The responsible party for the equipment should ensure that the appropriate equipment is authorized by the FCC with an ID number.
FCC certification process
- Customer submits the application form, signs the contract and makes the payment;
- The customer to prepare test samples (wireless products need to be fixed-frequency machine), and provide product information (see data requirements);
Issuance of a draft report, customer confirmation, the issuance of the official report; - If it is FCC SDoC, the project is completed; if it is applying for FCC ID, submit the report and technical information to TCB;
- TCB audit is completed to issue FCC ID certificate, send the official report, FCC ID certificate;
- After obtaining the FCC certification, the enterprise can use the FCC logo and related Statement on the product.
