The service “Santana” is independently operated by MSC, deploying 11 vessels of 13,000~1,5000 TEU containers, with weekly departures and a cycle time of 11 weeks. Adjusted to include Qingdao, this increase is at the expense of the port of Norfolk, making New York the only U.S. port.

The first sailing of the adjusted “Santana” service is expected to be the 1,3092 TEU “MSC EMMA”, voyage UX349A, which will commence on December 15 from Qingdao port.
