Amazon FBA storage fees – monthly inventory storage fee

Amazon generally charges the monthly inventory storage fee for the previous month between the 7th and the 15th of each month. For example, to view inventory storage fees for January, see the Payments report for transactions from February 7-15.

Monthly storage fee = (quantity of goods requiring 6-month long-term storage fee) x (unit volume of goods) x (monthly storage fee per cubic meter)

The monthly inventory storage fee is calculated as follows:

Monthly Amazon FBA storage fees will vary between the following two quarters: January – September and October – December

Monthly Inventory Storage = [Price per cubic centimeter/foot for a certain time period] x [Product size (cubic centimeters)]/(10cm x 10cm x 10cm) x [Number of days in storage]/[Number of days in the current month]

Amazon FBA storage fees – long-term inventory storage fee

Every year on February 15th and August 15th, FBA will conduct inventory checks. For products that have been in an Amazon fulfillment center for at least 12 months, Amazon assesses a long-term storage fee based on the total volume of the product in cubic centimeters.

Long-term Amazon FBA storage fees calculator = (quantity of goods subject to long-term storage fee within a certain period of time) x (quantity of cargo units) x (long-term storage fee per cubic meter in the same period)

Amazon FBA long term storage fees are calculated as follows:

[Units that have been in fulfillment centers for 6 to 12 months:] (6-month long-term storage fee) = (units subject to 6-month long-term storage fee) x (unit unit volume) x $11.25

[Items in fulfillment centers for 12 months or more:] (12-month long-term storage fee) = (units for which 12-month long-term storage fee is charged) x (unit unit volume) x 1 $22.50

Removal Order Fee/Inventory Handling Fee

Removal order fee: For products that are unsalable by general sellers, defective products damaged by buyers, or products that need to be moved to overseas warehouses, a removal order needs to be established. The cost incurred by these orders is the removal fee. Removal fees are charged per item removed. Removal orders take longer to ship, typically within 10-14 business days, but can sometimes take up to 30 days or more.

Liquidation: Liquidation is 10% of the selling price of the product, of which sellers account for 90% of the proceeds, and Amazon accounts for 10%.

FBA fees include order handling fees, pick and pack fees, weighing and handling fees, storage fees, and other non-standard services.

1) FBA fee = execution fee + monthly storage fee + storage inventory placement service fee

2) Execution fee = order processing fee + sorting and packaging fee + weighing processing fee

Amazon has two types of warehouse fees: monthly warehouse fee and long-term warehouse fee

1) Monthly storage fee = (quantity of goods requiring 6-month long-term storage fee) x (unit volume of goods) x (monthly storage fee per cubic meter)

2) Long-term storage fee = (quantity of goods subject to long-term storage fee within a certain period of time) x (quantity of cargo units) x (long-term storage fee per cubic meter during the same period).
