In today’s highly competitive cross-border e-commerce landscape, international logistics is no longer just about “shipping goods out”; it has become a core element directly impacting customer experience and brand reputation. To further enhance our team’s professional service capabilities, Xiongda International Logistics invited industry expert Mr. Zhao on August 3rd to conduct an intensive, practical training session themed around “Consultative Selling Skills.”

Shifting Focus: Client’s True Business Needs
At the beginning of the training, Mr. Zhao directly addressed common industry pain points: “Many sales representatives are still using ‘hard-sell’ tactics, rushing clients to sign contracts while forgetting to ask one crucial question: ‘What do you actually need?'”
At Xiongda International Logistics, we consistently adhere to the philosophy that “clients are not just customers, but partners who need problem-solving support.” True consultative selling isn’t about pushing products onto clients; it’s about first understanding their business model and then delivering custom-tailored logistics solutions.

The SPIN Framework: Uncovering Unspoken Supply Chain Anxieties
During the interactive segment, Mr. Zhao utilized the “SPIN Selling” framework (Situation, Problem, Implication, Need-payoff) for practical exercises. This allowed the team to deeply understand that only by uncovering a client’s “unspoken anxieties” can we provide genuinely valuable solutions.
For instance, when a client remarks, “Logistics have been a bit slow lately,” the underlying concern might actually be “worrying that peak-season warehouse congestion will negatively impact their store ratings.” When a client asks, “Can the freight price be lower?”, they are fundamentally evaluating the “balance point between supply chain costs and transit times.”

Building Long-Term Partnerships for Global Expansion
Concluding the training, Mr. Zhao emphasized: “Trust is more precious than anything. We don’t want to be a ‘one-off deal’ freight forwarding company; we strive to be a ‘long-term partner’ for our clients in their global expansion.” This perfectly aligns with what Xiongda International Logistics has always advocated: “Leave the logistics to us, so you can focus on conquering the global market.”

This training was not only an upgrade in sales techniques but also an evolution of our service philosophy. Moving forward, Xiongda International Logistics will continue to center our operations around “consultative services,” utilizing our professionalism and sincerity to safeguard the cross-border journey for every global seller.
