Kitchenaid is a well-loved American brand in this category. Perhaps best known for its spray-painted stand mixers (and assorted fancy fruit rotary peelers), it also sells a host of other small appliances, kitchen gadgets, and cooking tools.
It is a brand of Whirlpool Corporation, which sources its products from several different suppliers in the cities of Suzhou, Qingdao and Foshan in China.
One of Kitchenaid’s most serious competitors is Cuisinart, a brand owned by Conair Corporation, which sources its products from a supplier in Shenzhen, China.

The grocery import business is eclectic and includes a wide variety of products: musical instruments, furniture and clocks, for example, all fall into this broad category. In 2021, grocery imports will account for about 15% of total U.S. imports and 19% of U.S. imports from China.
