To help Amazon maintain a trusted marketplace for buyers and sellers, Amazon may suspend some sellers’ accounts and request additional information.
This guidance applies to sellers selling on the following sites: North America (including the US, Canada, and Mexico), Japan, Australia, the UAE, and Singapore.
If your account is suspended for this reason, you can follow the steps below to provide relevant information:
1. Know why your account was disabled
If you enter the seller’s platform and receive a performance notification from the following email address, and the content is as shown in the screenshot, it means that you are likely to encounter account deactivation when registering.

2. Preparations before the appeal
Prepare the bills required for the appeal, as follows:
• The file must not cover up the defacement, must be true and unmodified, and must not Ps or change the file (including any annotations and comments on the photo);
• Issue Date: Provide a utility bill within the last 90 days;
• Bill Type: Amazon only accepts bills for plumbing or natural gas electricity, tap water, or Internet service;
• Billing title and address: Bills must show your full name and current operating or residential address;
Billing Requirements for Business Sellers: The bill must show the full legal name of your company or the full name of the legal representative, which also needs to be shown on your business license;
• Bill format: Amazon does not accept screenshots, but only accepts color photos or color scans of bills in pdf, png, gif format;
If it is really impossible to provide bills of water, electricity and coal under the name of the legal person or the company, it is recommended that you provide the following materials as supporting evidence for review by relevant departments:
• Color photo/color scanned copy of account book: if the legal representative and the person named in the title of the bill are under the same account;

If you are not sure what your address in the seller platform is, you can check it in the following way to check whether the address in the seller platform is consistent with the name and address on the bill: log in to the seller platform, enter account information, click “office address” available for viewing.
3. After appeal
Amazon tries to process your submission quickly. Amazon will send the response to the performance notification in Seller Central.
If you receive a performance notice asking you to resubmit updated documentation, please review the denial reasons and reappeal. We recommend that you submit a new profile such as:
• Water, gas, electricity or internet service bills for the past 3 consecutive months;
• Or other supporting documents to help Amazon verify that your current business or residential address matches the business address you provided on Seller Central.Amazon Account Review
Please avoid:
• Submit documents repeatedly before Amazon has had sufficient time to review your appeal;
• Submissions are incomplete, illegible, redacted, marked up or screenshots;
• Submitting expired or invalid types of documents.

All Amazon sellers must follow these guidelines:
• Always provide Amazon and our buyers with accurate information;
• Act fairly and not abuse Amazon’s features or services;
• Do not attempt to harm or abuse other sellers or their listings/ratings;
• Do not attempt to influence buyer ratings, feedback and reviews;
• Do not send unsolicited or inappropriate communications;
• Only contact buyers through the buyer-seller messaging service;
• Do not attempt to circumvent the Amazon sales process;
• Do not operate multiple Selling on Amazon accounts without Amazon’s permission;
Violations of the Code of Conduct or any other Amazon policy may result in Amazon taking appropriate action on your account, such as canceling listings, suspending or forfeiting payments, and revoking selling privileges. Amazon Account Review
